Ezo Seafoods Oyster Bar was established in 2009 to offer visitors to Niseko a better seafood experience. Specializing in pristine Hokkaido seafood, Ezo Seafoods sources its seafood daily from the Sapporo Wholesale markets, ensuring patrons don't miss the freshest daily seafood offerings while in Niseko.

From a tray of oysters to sumptuous seafood platters, Ezo Seafoods also prepares hot and cold dishes for takeout. Ordering is simple. Just select a platter from the menu below or from the a la carte menu and email your order. We collect payment in advance by PAYPAL. You specify a time for collection between 5:15pm and 7pm and collect at our Niseko Hirafu storefront. We will be adding new items from Dec 15th.

MARKET PRICE
We stock several grades of uni daily but recommend you order a day or so in advance. We can source several grades from nearby Russian uni to highest grade Hokkaido uni. Budget from ¥5000 to ¥14,000 per tray. Availability varies.

WHOLE KING RED CRAB
Market price
The King of Crab! We stock live King Red Crab ("Taraba gani") sourced from the icy cold waters of the Ohtsuka Sea. Sizes vary from 2.5 kgs to 3.5 kgs. We boil, cut up and prepare on a platter for takeout. (currently ¥12,000 per kilo)

Commitment to freshness
Once the seafood leaves the ocean, there is a race against time to get it to your table. To minimise time lag, and to get first pick at the markets, owner James drives to the Sapporo Wholesale Markets daily, a 5-hour round trip, underscoring our commitment to pristine freshness, variety and knowledge. Additionally, Ezo Seafoods maintains live seafood in state-of-the-art seafood tanks using chilled seawater sourced from Iwanai on Hokkaido's Pacific coastline.

(For duration of 2020/21 season, we will offer a course menu and limited a la carte menu only)
At Ezo Seafoods Oyster Bar, there is no paper menu. All of our seafood is displayed in open display cases and live seafood tanks. Our staff give you a quick overview of the day's fish and make recommendations based on your preferences. Depending on the fish you select, for example, we will recommend either grilling, braising or steaming the fish. It is a seafood only menu, though we also serve soups, salads and side dishes including fried rice, noodles and potato wedges.


Dining Rooms
We have two dining rooms, both have windows which are opened regularly to circulate air through the restaurant. The tables in the front room are for groups of 2-4 people. It is suitable for small groups or couples. In the upstairs room, the tables are bigger suitable for 5 people. It is suitable for families or bigger groups. If you have a preference for dining room please let us know, however we cannot guarantee that we can always seat you in your preferred dining room or table.
